Yes, that was a great concept. Too bad it has fallen into the “32 bit only Nirvana”.

By the way, did you see the latest update to Tokyo Dawn Slick EQ (both free and GE version)?

They have implemented something quite similar: you can now design custom EQ curves. Currently the implementation is not very straightforward (you basically have to use some sort of markup language), but they have written in their blog article that they are working on a more streamlined implementation.
