So when they finally did send the video link to help me with the issue it turned out to be this, and I quote, “helpful video” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKdQR8LrS-g&feature=youtu.be

I can only assume that they are deploying the term helpful in a sarcastic manner . Since they obviously weren’t interested in solving the issue I’d reported and clearly had not even read the support ticket I’d raised.

Good job IK (that’s sarcastic btw, just to be clear).

And yes that is copied and pasted in exactly as received – so where is the video? Did someone get paid to send that Email and can I please have their job? Lmao.

Except in the video link you included it doesn’t show you being forced to load Sample Tank 4 as a prerequisite to being able to download the sound bank.

Nor does it show the sounds bank then being installed in an incorrect file path and having to deduce how to solve this issue ones self.

And it also doesn’t show the 7 day wait for the support reply below:

Dang, never knew this, i just redeemed their freebies & then forgot about them, thinking i’d check them out much later when needed. Thanks to all your msges about this i logged in to find that, to my horror, most of my previously redeemed free sounds are not longer downloadable without paying. The time-limit is 180 days. Pretty angry to find out, lame policy!

But oh well, thanks to BPB i have many many good alternatives.
