Nope, I’ve had multiple IK Multimedia freebies for many years, never had to pay to ‘reactivate’, in fact, I have never bought anything from them, I just have the freebies, no issues at all
Are you sure you’re not thinking of the download links, they will expire if you need them again and haven’t saved them

But they do have English editions of the mag itself. I got a subscription several months ago via Zinio (a site/service which has its own problems, but I digress). Don’t know much about the Falkemedia site, but I think a sub’s worth it, as Beat does give away some cool stuff!
