if there is a ‘but’ on freeware/donationware i’d say it’s quite hungry on the CPU, but with tools like this one can imagine any Ambient track ever made being least 50% generative/random and i love randomness

The main downside is that it is only a standalone version, it doesn’t come as a VST. But it is pretty good at creating drone/ambient samples for further use in samplers.
