Making instruments that are compatible with Kontakt Player requires a license (which is quite expensive), so it’s actually surprising that there are free Kontakt Player libraries available. https://bedroomproducersblog.com/2020/04/27/free-kontakt-libraries/

Native Instruments charge developers a license fee for each library to be registered as a library and thus be usable with Kontakt Player, apparently it’s quite an expensive fee.
