I’ve been overlooking this plugin for years to my detriment. I’m not at the place where I can do all of my audio manipulation with EQ and compressors which some folks may be able to accomplish. No one I know likes to spend hours going back and forth trying to breathe life into one track. When a decent saturation plugin or a transcient designer will get your audio where you want it in minutes. I’m heading over to Boz Digital as soon as I close this page. Yesterday, a mediocre kick track I was working on went from lackluster to punchy in minutes after I put transgressor on it. BTW, transgressor is currently on sale for $29 USD. Usually sells for around $150.

It was mentioned above that transgressor excels on drums. That is a plus. Weak, un-punchy, lackluster drums will kill what could have been an awesome.song.

Quantum apparently is Transgressor on steroids but with a few other bits. But, with clever signal chaining tricks and some more effort you should be able get same(ish) results with transgressor(s) and the plugins already in your folder ;-)

Looks interesting.
Is it useful for techno/dark and heavy kick ?
With kick plugin like Kick 2 ?
I just saw reviews with accoustic bass drum/rock music etc…none about techno/electronic music and electronic kick.

Great review, I’ve been debating on whether it’s worth buying if it’s more of a one trick type plug in
