Thanks for the kind remarks Greg. I wanted this review to give people a good look at what they get for their hard-earned money, especially due to the lack of a demo, which is why I’ll be making some tutorials on YouTube.

It’s an incredible piece of synth software, and your review was equal to it. You helped me further understand and appreciate this stunner.

UVI has a demo for other products like Relayer and SparkVerb, so I think it’s very possible we can expect to see a demo version at some point, just not sure when. This reminds me of when several of AIR’s third-party plugins were not available as a demo for some time. But it finally happened. I’m guessing this is a temporary licensing issue having something to do with iLok. Pure speculation on my part though.

Agreed on the demo. That needs to happen. But I’ve actually never had a problem with the new iLok system. I have no experience with their old licensing system, but I’ve heard the nightmare stories and I can see why a lot of people have a bad taste in their mouth. But seriously, I have not had a single problem with the new ilok Licence Manager…and no, I’m not being paid to say that :)

Great review by the way. :)

Thanks Man for your generous comment! But you can save “presets” in Falcon, they’re just not called presets, they’re called “programs”, and you can save several programs together as a “multi”. Thing is, as you pointed out, you have to know your way around Falcon to really get the most out of it. You have to take more of a holistic approach instead of working in just one oscillator, effect etc. The trick is knowing what can and can’t be done on the keygroup level and picking and choosing your battles on the program level. It takes time to acclimate to it, but with a little patience, a whole new world will open up to you :)
