Loopcloud 4 Released By Loopmasters (Free Sample Manager)

Loopmasters have introduced Loopcloud 4, a freeware cloud-based sample manager application with built-in sample editing and slicing tools.

Loopcloud is a freeware audio sample management and organization software developed by Loopmasters. The plugin can be used to catalog and organize your existing samples as well as to purchase additional loops and samples individually form the Loopmasters online store. Finding the right audio loop or one-shot sample for your current project is easy thanks to Loopcloud’s excellent tagging and search functionality.

Loopcloud 4 introduces a range of new features, most important of which are the audio editing capabilities. The user can now slice, reverse, rearrange, fade, adjust the start point of a sample. The audio can be dragged and rearranged even before it’s downloaded from the cloud. Additionally, the Loopcloud plugin will now respond to MIDI input like a regular virtual instrument. This way, the user can play Loopcloud’s samples chromatically across the keyboard as if they were loaded in a sampler.

The developers have also improved the speed of the search function, along with providing a more refined tagging system and increasing the download speed. Loopcloud 4 now also comes with a more robust keyboard shortcut system and allows the user to copy/paste the samples between the plugin and their digital audio workstation instead of dragging and dropping.
