Just tested it and WOW! With its Attack knob, it is essential for extended range guitars (and also mix dial, bringing back that clean for extra low end).

In reply to Caleb. I picked up the Pre X7 a while back for next to nothing, it's had plenty of use on bass and vocals, great little plugin. This too sounds really good; I've been getting some really fat, gritty tones with Dr Drive going in to S-Gear, particularly around breakup and just beyond. The attack feature adds a lot of tonal shaping on the way in, and adds a fair bit of heft on the lowest settings. A great additional to the resources available ITB for guitarists. Nice work from Audiority.

Great plugin. HQ mode (= “oversampling on”) adds some latency, but the sound is really great.
One thing I don’t understand: Why take so much screen if most of the window is just an empty background?

Oh man, I forgot Audiority had some guitar stuff! I usually use Pre X7, PlexiTape, and Echoes T7E MKII from them. Turns out they have this pedal plus a free solid-state amplifier that’s pretty good (L12x). I don’t think the amp pairs as well with this pedal as their paid amp (Solidus VS8100), but it’s not heavy on CPU and great for clean tones.

In reply to Neytcev. i have never had any issues with audiority, i own several of their paid plugins. and they are all very nice, my favourite of them is the tube modulator.
