I’ve been thinking for a while now about making a Free Sample Shootout dedicated to chiptune sounds. But doing so would be rather pointless since someone else already made a perfect job of it!
If you’re into chiptune sounds, I’m sure you will be amazed by Woolyss. All the samples, VST plugins, soundfonts, sound generators, trackers, online radios, labels, ANYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF that is chiptune related, is listed and linked on this website, category by category. It seems to me that simply every piece of internet that has anything to do with chiptunes is listed on the Woolyss pages. And of course, no need to mention that most of the stuff is freeware. :]
My favorite features on there are the VST Plugin list and the Samples list, but make sure you also check out the rest because there are many interesting tools to be found.
Make sure you have some free space on your hard drive and head on full throttle to the amazing Woolyss.com!
