Kitik launches FREE no frills sampler Chop Chop!

Kitik just launched Chop Chop!, which is a free sampler for macOS and Windows in AU and VST3 formats.

The plugin is available via a ‘name a fair price’ model, and you can grab it for zero dollars or more. 

Kitik describes Chop Chop as a creative sampler. The guide for using it is quite straightforward: You simply drag the sample into the plugin, click a button, and a shiny new sample is ready to play in your DAW.

Chop Chop is currently available via the developer’s Gumroad page. 

You can access the download by completing the checkout from the product page, which requires only an email address.

I ran the download process just now. Once you provide an email address, you are redirected to a page where you can choose from a PKG file and Windows installer, which are 10.8 MB and 4.1 MB, respectively. 

There’s not much else I can say about the plugin, so if you want a no-nonsense free sampler, Kitik has definitely got you covered with this release. 

Kritik is a software developer from Phoenix, Arizona. In addition to plugin and sample pack releases, Kitik produces electronic music under the same name, or sometimes as Kitikdub. 

Chop Chop is the latest addition to Kitik’s plugin inventory, which currently features six plugins and a sample pack. 

Kitik’s other releases are the Distork distortion, Mangl3r distortion, Simple Synth 2.0, QwikRef mixing reference tool, Disburser transient shaper, and the Kitik Kollection Vol. 1 sample pack bundle.

Kitik’s development style typically favors simple plugin designs and no-frills user interfaces. 

If you’re hankering for something free and simple that’ll get the job done with a minimum of fuss, then Kitik will get you sorted quick!
