Native Instruments FREE “Community Drive” Charity Sound Pack

Native Instruments released Community Drive, a freely downloadable charity sound collection that includes royalty-free audio loops, samples, and virtual instrument presets.

Community Drive is a free sound pack that features a collection of royalty-free sounds provided by famous artists and sound designers. It is part of Native Instruments’ ongoing charity drive in support of the organizations like Grammy MusiCares Fund (USA), Black Trans Femmes in the Arts (USA), Musicians Without Borders (NL), Keychange (EU), Kuumba in Motion Expressing Transformation (USA), In Place Of War (UK), and Heart N Soul (UK).

Aimed at helping struggling musicians during the COVID-19 pandemic by bringing artists together, Native Instruments have already donated €100,000 distributed among the causes mentioned above, encouraging users to match its donation.

The pack itself features a broad set of sounds. Some of the audio content is formatted for use with Native Instruments software and hardware products like Reaktor, Maschine, or Battery. This is also true for the included synth patches, which are compatible with NI’s virtual instruments like Monark and Massive. That said, the Community Drive collection also contains a set of one-shots and audio loops that are compatible with virtually any DAW or sampler plugin on the market.

The sounds contributed to the collection come from world-famous, esteemed artists. You’ll find samples and loops crafted by Sia, Take a Daytrip’s No Idle Crew, Peaches, Junkie XL, Richard Devine, BT, Kimbra, and many more, making this a fantastic way to play around with the sounds of established musicians.

Here’s a full breakdown of what Native Instruments are offering:

• 12 MASCHINE kits;
• 10 BATTERY kits;
• 14 Logic DMD kits;
• 14 Ableton kits;
• 11 MASSIVE presets;
• 27 MONARK presets;
• 10 PRISM presets;
• 10 SKANNER XT presets;
• 74 loops;
• 104 drum samples, including six claps, six cymbals, 14 hi-hats, 33 kicks, ten toms, 38 snares, and eight percussion samples;
• 268 samples total.

Use the pack by itself as a source of cutting-edge production-ready sounds or use it in conjunction with your own samples to inject a bit of distinct flavor. The collection will show up in Native Access after claiming it from the Community Drive page.
