Waves IR-L Convolution Reverb Is Free Until November 10th

Black Ghost Audio offers the IR-L ($149 value) convolution reverb by Waves as a free download until November 10th.

Waves IR-L is a convolution reverb effect in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin formats for digital audio workstation software on Windows and macOS.

For a limited time only, the IR-L plugin by Waves is free to download, courtesy of the Black Ghost Audio channel on YouTube. The plugin is normally priced at $149, and you can get it for free if you sign up before November 10th, 2020.

The procedure for getting IR-L for free is simple, but I noticed that some of our readers mentioned that their serial numbers didn’t arrive.

I tested this today, and I received the Waves IR-L serial number instantly. So, how can you download the plugin for free?

First, you’ll need to sign up for a Waves Audio user account if you don’t have one already. Also, note that you’ll need to install the Waves Central license manager to activate your free software.

After signing up for a Waves user account (it’s free), visit the giveaway page (courtesy of Black Ghost Audio) and subscribe to their email newsletter.

The confirmation email should arrive instantly. Open it and confirm your email address. After that, allow up to five minutes for the follow-up email to arrive.

The follow-up email contains your personal Waves IR-L serial number.

Confirm your email address to receive the Waves IR-L serial number.

Copy the provided code, log in to your Waves Audio user account, and paste the code on the “Register New Products” page.

That’s it! You now have a free copy of IR-L in your account. The deal ends on November 10th, but the plugin is yours to keep forever.

    I was somehow able to install and run their Berzerk plugin on my Win 7 but I can’t get anything else to run. It seems like the only thing Waves Central is good at, is downloading huge updates. How the hell amateurs can get installers right and I never have problems, while I’m struggling with Waves.

      Hi Ian

      Are you downloading & installing V12 plug-ins ? If so, you could try using V11 plug-ins instead.
      You can uninstall all V12 plug-ins in Waves Central App then reinstall V11
      (V11 can be activated by your newly purchased V12 license, if the V12 plug-in is also a available as a V11 plug-in).

      It may be a compatibility issue with Windows 7 & Waves V12.

      I don’t have a “metal” GPU on my Mac & Waves V12 plug-ins don’t display their GUI, so i activate my V12 license, then choose to display only V11 plug-ins for me to install & they work perfectly.

    IR-L is now installed and I was subscribed to Audio Plugin Guy’s newsletter. 😊 Thank you for the info. The second deal is from Audio Plugin _Guy not from Audio Plugin Deals. I think they are similar but not the same. Or?

      If i get a mail with a promotion from them and no serial nr for ir reverb they go straight junk mail. Looks like this is a scam for me

    I have tried for two days to get a serial…. I dont recieve anything. I tried different email adresses (outlook/gmail/hotmail etc) and nothing arrives ever. Also not in ”Junk/Spam” folders. Alot of people dont recieve a serial i saw on Facebook and reddit. Some people do however, but i feel this is a little scammy.
