ZamplerSounds Launched (WINNERS ANNOUNCED)

Beat Magazine has launched ZamplerSounds, a new online repository of premium quality sound packs for the freeware Zampler virtual instrument. They are also giving away three sets of five sound packs to three lucky BPB readers!

The sound packs currently on offer are quite affordable, ranging from €4.99 for releases like AIRA Total and CS40-M Burst to €10.99 for Ultimate Synths and Elecktro. The products are available for instant download after the purchase and they’re formatted for use with the latest version of Zampler.

Speaking of which, Zampler was recently updated, finally bringing 64-bit compatibility on Mac OS. The latest version also comes with a nice looking modern skin and a new sound bank that can be downloaded free of charge from the official Zampler product page.

I’ve mentioned Zampler on BPB numerous times in the past, as it is one of the most convenient freeware SFZ players around. It is a great tool for quick editing of SFZ instruments and it works really well if you want to apply a few effects and a bit of modulation to your favorite SFZ patches. What’s also really good is the fact that the plugin is very lightweight in terms of CPU usage, making it a great choice for loading background sounds and elements in your mix.
