Waves Berzerk Distortion Is FREE @ Reverb! (OFFER EXPIRED)

Reverb is offering the Berzerk ($99 value) multi-mode distortion effect by Waves as a free download from their website for a limited time only.

This is the second Waves freebie we’re featuring on BPB this week. In case you missed it, the first one is the MaxxVolume ($129 value) plugin, which you can still download completely free of charge from the Waves website. Add MaxxVolume to your user account before August 31st and keep it forever.

The second Waves freebie this week comes from Reverb. It’s the Berzerk distortion effect, which was already offered as a freebie on several occasions. The plugin was released as a limited-time Black Friday freebie last year.

In short, Berzerk is a multi-mode distortion effect that doesn’t attempt to emulate any specific analog hardware. Instead, it delivers ten completely original distortion algorithms that are loosely inspired by various amps, guitar pedals, and more. Berzerk also enhances your sound design work workflow with handy features like M/S processing, sidechaining, and more.

Even if you already own several distortion plugins, Berzerk is likely to become a valuable addition to your FX collection. Use it twist and mangle the source audio in new and unpredictable ways.
