Anarchy Comp VST/AU Plugin Is FREE For A Limited Time

Anarchy Audioworx offers the Anarchy Comp ($49 value) compression and saturation VST/AU plugin as a free download for a limited time only.

The developer describes Anarchy Comp as a flexible dynamic processing tool capable of compressing individual instruments, buses, and even the master channel. It is available in VST and AU plugin formats for compatible DAW software on Windows and macOS.

The plugin sports a real-time waveform analyzer and a gain reduction meter, a compressor module with auto makeup gain, and a saturation module. The interface is well-designed, with vibrant colors and an intuitive control layout.

The compressor section features the standard set of controls. You can adjust the threshold, input gain, compression ratio, attack, and release. The saturation module is a simple one-knob affair, paired with a bypass switch and a high-pass filter that cleans up the compressed signal.

Overall, the plugin performs quite well, but I think that Anarchy Comp truly shines as a coloring tool. It’s the type of plugin I’d typically place as a drum insert, or as a gentle enhancer on the bass channel.

With the auto-gain feature switched on, the Anarchy Comp also works great as a quick and easy loudness booster. Add some saturation to taste, apply a little bit of compression, and the drum bus will sound better in a matter of seconds.

If tweaking compressors is not your idea of fun, it’s worth noting that Anarchy Comp comes with 55 presets to help you get started. Of course, you’ll want to fine-tune the timing controls and the input gain to suit the audio signal at hand.

Anarchy Comp typically costs $49, but you can download it for free for a limited time. Unfortunately, there’s no official info on when the free download offer will end.

In addition to the Anarchy Comp freebie deal, Anarchy Audioworx also offers a £290 saving on the “Total Anarchy Bundle” which typically costs £470.00 (£180 on sale). The plugin contains six plugins (one of which is Anarchy Comp), two sample libraries, and a set of Kontakt instruments.

    Been using this today. I actually quite like it – simple and effective. That added saturation option after compression is a nice touch as well.

    I just downloaded it and have a serial number April 7th, 9:52pm PST.

    At checkout, this is what their site says:

    Please be patient everyone. I waited till next day and received a serial number. There was even very polite (automatic) message from developer explaining the situation. He did not expect such big amount of orders in last 24 hours. All is good here.

    How can you be “out of stock” on a digital product. No, I won’t be checking back in a couple of days.

      there is an explanation in the comments above your comment which tells you how a digital product can be out of stock.
      if people read the other comments before writing down their own maybe the internet would be a bit more fun…
      and how can so many people be so angry about things like this anyway?

    hmmm, that’s strange.
    Are they that well known for serials to expire so quickly?
    Or was this a way to drive traffic to an otherwise not frequently accessed site and on the way try to push some software trials? hmmm

    Hey Tomislav, BPB & Aris thanks very much for your info about this kind offer from Anarchy Audioworx of their decent compressor, its very much appreciated as ever when you share news of quality products.
    I really like this, not only because the GUI looks good, but i was very happy when i managed to get really good results from the actual compression, but then the saturation afterwards too, which i loved as soon as i applied it to my clean digital drums. Keep well & in good health 😊
