PreSonus teamed up with Waves to offer the OneKnob Louder plugin ($49 value) as a free download until March 15th, 2021.

OneKnob Louder is a loudness booster by Waves, available in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin formats for DAW applications on PC and Mac. It combines limiting and dynamic range compression with auto makeup gain to boost the loudness of the processed audio signal.

Like the rest of the OneKnob product range, OneKnob Louder features a single control knob. It applies compression and limiting at the same time while increasing the gain to match the peak volume of the unprocessed signal.

This kind of streamlined workflow is a double-edged sword. OneKnob Louder isn’t something you’ll want to use for high-precision limiting, in situations like mastering. But, it’s a handy tool for boosting the loudness of a single mix element that needs to stand out.

      No, it works even if you don’t have presonus. I did a questionnare (I already have a Waves Account), and didn’t check in Studio One. Still got it. I don’t know why they say it’s only for Studio One users, maybe they want to tie it in to Presonus. I got it and just downloaded it.

    Even if they say it is only for Presonus users, don’t forget it is free to become a Presonus user, just sign up to get the free version of Studio One.

    HEADS UP: you don’t need a Presonus account, or need to be associated with Presonus in anyway to claim this. Just head to the site and fill in the questionnaire.
