ToneLib has made the TL EasyComp compressor available for free download.
The plugin is a 64-bit exclusive free compressor that’s available for Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu.
ToneLib describes the comp as a “powerful yet simple tool for quick compression.”
The American indie developer states that the plugin is designed to provide effective compression performance without a large number of controls or complicated adjustments being required.
As ToneLib explains, “With only three knobs on board, this plug-in compressor perfectly manages fast audio processing using automatic algorithms. It allows you to easily handle virtually any mix in just a couple of clicks.”
The comp has an automatic Vocal Mode, which is designed to allow you to quickly bring vocals and speech to the front of a mix with a single click.
TL EasyComp has a super simple interface that’s easy to take in at a glance. No option paralysis here folks!
Furthermore, ToneLib has provided a flexible user interface with multiple display modes available.
The interface is fully scalable, and users can customize the information shown on the display to suit their workflow.
The display is animated, giving you real-time visualization of the input, output and gain reduction, making working with the audio signal a more visual process. Maybe using your ears ain’t all it’s cracked up to be after all!
ToneLib explains that “With only three knobs to control the compressor, TL EasyComp is perfect for quick compression when fine-tuning of multiple parameters is not required.”
The developer continues, saying, “Using automatic algorithms, this easy-to-use yet effective unit allows you to quickly achieve the desired effect when processing an audio signal.”
TL EasyComp is available in VST, VST3, AU, and standalone formats.
ToneLib states that the plugin was designed for minimal CPU usage and that users can run “multiple plug-in instances without any visible load on your device.”
TL EasyComp is compatible with Ubuntu 18 or higher, macOS 10.13 or higher, and Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10, or 11.
The plugin is available via a two-click process from the product page. After clicking on the free download link, switch over to the freeware panel and you’ll be able to pick from the three installers for the different operating systems.
ToneLib has released four paid releases, along with five free releases, so you might want to check out what else the developer has on offer while you’re there.

onHi guys! It’d be nice to get some commentary about how the plugin sounds. Although the general info and overall summary are much appreciated, it can also be found on the developer website.
I understand not every product can get that kind of review though. So just something to consider in general. Cheers!
