99Sounds Releases FREE Electromagnetic Sounds By Marcel Gnauk

99Sounds has released Electromagnetic Sounds, a free sound effects library created by Marcel Gnauk of Free To Use Sounds.

Electromagnetic Fields contains 2.4 GB of various electronic noises like humming, buzzing, static, interference, and glitches. The sounds were recorded by Marcel Gnauk, the sound design artist behind the Free To Use Sounds label.

Marcel hooked up a LOM Priezor antenna to a Zoom F8n field recorder and roamed the streets of Singapore in search of interesting sound sources. He captured the electronic noises produced by arcade machines, streetlights, bus stations, vending machines, elevators, and various other sources.

The sounds are provided in lossless 24-bit WAV format and they’re ready to use as sound effects in your music projects, videos, video games, or any other creative endeavors. Of course, you can also use these audio files for sound design work, like creating drones, glitch sound effects, or weird alien soundscapes.

Like all 99Sounds releases, Electromagnetic Sounds are completely royalty-free for use in your projects, both free and commercial.

Anyone know what the microphone is called with the rubber covering the microphone that placed onto a object to record internal sounds?

I remember a site given away free sounds from such a microphone and would like to buy one.
